Purpose

Dedicated platform changes for source-based installation by infrastructure PR #5. No cloud provisioning is added to this repository.

  • Advertise hosted bootstrap contract v1; use existing make setup and make up with opt-in hosted units, bounded readiness checks, and the sandbox frontend build flag.
  • Keep infrastructure responsible for Debian/Docker/storage, runtime configuration and the HTTPS edge.
  • Make SQL migration retries checksum-tracked and serialized, with per-file rollback and collision-free snapshots. Existing databases without the ledger are not automatically adopted.

Verification

  • Platform make test-bootstrap test-prepare-components: 13 bootstrap, 16 hosted and 18 component tests passed in the isolated tools container.
  • Real PostgreSQL migration suite: 10/10 passed, including all 71 repository migrations, retry/rollback/history checks, concurrency, legacy adapter and reserved filenames.
  • Cross-repository source-install fixture passed using the real infrastructure and platform scripts with inert external services.
  • Independent reviews passed, including the final migration filename correction; reviewed/tested source hashes checked before commit.
  • Full Rust make test is not green: the available rustc 1.93.0 cannot build dependencies requiring 1.94.1/1.96.0. No toolchain changes included.
  • No live EC2 application build/start, DNS/TLS or end-to-end deployment acceptance claimed. No AWS/dev01 changes performed.

Testing before merge

Infrastructure can fetch this unmerged branch's exact commit. Set platform_revision in the environment JSON to c332167adbea46ea8755c6decccc268531001bef. Do not use a moving branch name or the old bundle-only platform pin.

No cloud provisioning is added to this repository. - Advertise hosted bootstrap contract v1; use existing `make setup` and `make up` with opt-in hosted units, bounded readiness checks, and the sandbox frontend build flag. - Keep infrastructure responsible for Debian/Docker/storage, runtime configuration and the HTTPS edge. - Make SQL migration retries checksum-tracked and serialized, with per-file rollback and collision-free snapshots.
